Surfer-singer-filmmaker Jack Johnson is going coast-to-coast with his SURFILMUSIC Tour in 2026, and he’s bringing the music tides to Texas! The acoustic, folk, and surf rock musician is finally on his long-awaited tour after four years of pausing from going on the road. He is going to sing not only the songs from his last album, Meet The Moonlight, but also his hit songs from his seven other studio albums. He’s bringing three musical acts on this tour: Latin-Western instrumental band Hermanos Gutiérrez, multigenre band Lake Street Dive, and Garrett Dutton of the band G. Love & Special Sauce! Four years after he released his last album, Meet the Moonlight, Jack Johnson is back on the road to hold more shows with his SURFILMUSIC Tour in 2026. After releasing his collaboration song and tour teaser Hold On To The Light with the band Hermanos Gutiérrez, Johnson is making sure life stays bright for his fans who have stayed fantastically loyal to his music. Now he’s back with his guitar, and it’s definitely worth the wait!
From Hawaii, Johnson has gained fans locally and internationally, thanks to his hopecore music. Spotify describes his artistry as something that elevates the perspectives of listeners and guides “toward a more expansive state of mind”. Today, he has over 12.5 million people listening to him monthly on the same platform. Despite being a multi-platinum-selling artist, the singer remains low-key and connected to his roots by being an active supporter of causes that advocate for the environment.
With his easy-going, laid-back music and persona, Johnson has surely made friends along the way. Now, three musical acts are joining him as he gets on the road in 2026. First are the Ecuadorian-Swiss brother duo Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez who make up the Latin instrumental band Hermanos Gutiérrez. This year, Johnson released their collaboration song Hold On To The Light that also serves as the teaser for this upcoming tour. The band blends Latin and Western instrumental music very well, and it will definitely take Johnson’s acoustic show to the next level.
The second band that is also joining Johnson on tour is Lake Street Dive from Massachusetts. Initially planning to play as an improvised country band, they have evolved to their own sound of pop soul and alt-jazz and have poured it into their eight albums. Now, they are listened to by 3.2 million people on Spotify every month.
Johnson is also going to be joined by Garrett Dutton, or G.Love of the band G.Love & Special Sauce. As the frontman of the band, G.Love has experienced extensive touring and has made 10 studio albums. As a solo artist, he has also produced four albums that charted on their own. Now, he’s ready to join Johnson to surf with music.
The Germania Insurance Amphitheater is the largest outdoor amphitheater in Central Texas. It can accommodate up to 14,000 people, with 6,700 seats fixed for the comfort of the guests.
